It all started in the late 1930s in Warroad, Minnesota, a stone's throw from the Canadian border. The lumber yard manager at the Marvin Lumber and Cedar Company started building barn sash one long, slow winter. The company started assembling windows, then screens, and so on through today.
RIGHT FROM THE START.
There's nothing everyday about our standard window and door. That's because we begin beyond what many people consider top of the line. Every interior is all wood, nothing less. State-of-the-art engineering ensures solid, secure opening and closing. Attention to even the smallest design details is mandatory, such as handles that match the contour of your hand and a traditional millwork look in our aluminum cladding.
From there, the options are up to you. Depending on the type of home you're building, and where it's located, and how true to your vision you want to be. Choose the right type of glass for your region, so you can invite or deflect the sun's warmth. Add aluminum cladding, and enjoy a low maintenance exterior. Put a new twist on a traditional grille pattern. Create a wall of light, or focus on a single stunning view. All easily possible.
